By booking a trip with or otherwise using the services or website of Henry Paul Bass Guide Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Bookings & deposits

A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the trip and may be paid in cash, by card (subject to a 4% processing fee) or by Venmo.

2. Cancellation & rescheduling

Free reschedule or refund of deposit up to 7 days before the trip date.
Within 7 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable but is transferable to another date within 12 months.
Same-day cancellations forfeit the full trip price.
If we cancel for safety reasons (severe weather, mechanical issues), you receive a full refund or free reschedule — your choice.

3. Assumption of risk & liability

Fishing involves inherent risks including but not limited to slips, falls, weather exposure, hooks, and being on a moving boat. By booking a trip you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions given by the guide. Our liability is limited to the cost of the trip. We carry $2M commercial liability insurance.

4. Conduct on the boat

The captain has full authority over the vessel. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in early termination of the trip without refund.
Excessive intoxication, illegal drugs, weapons, harassment of any kind, or destruction of equipment are grounds for immediate trip termination.
Personal flotation devices must be available for every guest at all times. Children under 13 must wear a PFD at all times while underway.

5. Fishing licenses & regulations

You are responsible for obtaining a valid Arkansas fishing license and following all Arkansas Game & Fish Commission regulations, including size and creel limits. The captain may refuse to keep illegally-sized fish.

6. Photography & likeness

We may take photos during your trip and use them for marketing purposes (website, social media, print). If you do not wish your likeness to be used, simply tell the captain at the start of the trip and we will respect that request.

7. Gift certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable but transferable and have no expiration date.

8. Intellectual property

All content on henrypaulbass.com — text, photos, graphics, logos — is the property of Henry Paul Bass Guide Service and is protected by U.S. copyright law. You may not reproduce or republish content without written permission.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Baxter County, Arkansas.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
